BJP questions Bengal law and order, shares alleged assault video

Following the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has raised concerns about the law and order situation in West Bengal, challenging Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's administration. BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya posted a video on his social media platform X, depicting a man violently beating another man and a woman with a stick. Malviya claims the incident occurred in Lakshmikantapur, North Dinajpur, West Bengal, identifying the attacker as Tajemul, also known as JCB, who is notorious in the area for his so-called "instant justice" sessions.

Malviya alleged that Tajemul is closely associated with TMC MLA Hamidul Rehman, asserting, "India should be aware of the reality of Sharia courts in TMC-ruled Bengal." He criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating, "Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is a curse for women. There is no trace of law and order in Bengal. Will Mamata Banerjee take action against this monster or defend him like she stood up for Sheikh Shahjahan?" The BJP's accusations intensify the ongoing political tension in the state, demanding accountability and action from the TMC leadership.
